NO MORE SCHOOL!!!!:)
Craig is officially done with school! He finished the four weeks of summer courses that he had to do and Ashlyn and I are so glad. It is nice to be able to spend more time together as a family without having the thoughts of homework, tests, or group projects in the back of our minds. These are a few pictures that were taken at a family barbeque we held to celebrate!
Ashlyn "rough housing" with Uncle Alex. She loves to play with him andactually asks for him by name.
Dawnette, Mike, and Alicia-Craig's cousins
Craig's Aunt Jenny and her daughter Meagan. Meagan is one day older than Ashlyn.

Craig enjoying his graduation present.Willow Park Fun
The other day we decided to take Ashlyn to the Willow Park Zoo. She loved it! Good thing we live close by so we can go back again soon.

Snow cones are one of my favorite things about summer. I think my love of snow cones has definitely rubbed off on Ashlyn. :)Fun with Dolls
Over the past few weeks Ashlyn has really developed a love for dolls or "babies" as she calls them. It is so fun to see her interact with the babies and even occasionally talk to them.
Ashlyn loves to have her babies sit and watch Barney with her. (over and over and over!)
Ashlyn taking her baby for a walk. She loves to do this!
Ashlyn putting her babies "night night". Who said laundry baskets are just for doing laundry?! Don't worry, we have since upgraded to a little bed and a nice wooden crib.Craig's Birthday Party
Craig's birthday was on June 13th and we had a great time celebrating with our families. Even Ashlyn really got into the whole party thing which made it even more enjoyable.
Ashlyn loved helping me put the candles into Craig's birthday cake.
Ashlyn helping daddy blow out the candles.
I think Ashlyn opened more presents then Craig!
Ashlyn loved this present-a giant Batman ball from Craig's family. My dad enjoyed playing catch with Ashlyn.
Random Fun
One day when it was really windy outside, Craig had Ashlyn take her little windmill outside. She loved watching it turn in circles really, really fast as the wind worked it's magic.
Matching toenails! Ashlyn's little toes looked so cute when I was done. This is thefirst time I have dared try to paint them and it was definitely a wiggly adventure.
Thank goodness for nail polish remover!
Our summer so far has been a lot of fun! Stay tuned for more summer fun stories and pictures!
